Shaktiman launches new and innovative agricultural machinery at EIMA

Rajkot (Gujarat, India), October 23, 2024. India’s largest agricultural machinery manufacturer
will take advantage of the EIMA International 2024 trade fair, held this year in Bologna, Italy, to showcase its
commitment to the global market and its support for farmers, with its unique range of machinery
and the launch of new products.

Making the most of its own booth at the fair for the first time, Shaktiman
will exhibit a wide range of the latest agricultural machines, including balers, mowers, feed mixers,
and tillage equipment, to demonstrate the breadth of its portfolio and the quality of its
comprehensive agricultural solutions for farmers.

“Shaktiman’s success in the domestic market, where we have worked hard to achieve over
50% market share, is because we were farmers first and understand the needs of
farmers,” says Ashwin Gohil, President of Shaktiman.

“That allowed us to understand the needs of each farmer and gave us the
ability to develop technologically advanced machinery solutions that are efficient, viable, and
highly effective.”

Shaktiman says the success of the strategy is evident: the company has launched several new products
in the last five years, and its ambitious product development pipeline now includes a
wide range of innovative solutions for the agricultural sector.

Among the new products presented at the EIMA fair are the variable chamber round baler
and a double rotor hay rake. Both are aimed at farmers who want to benefit from modern technologies
in both the European market and other countries.

The vertical feed mixer, another EIMA launch, has a similar design. With all the features
of larger machines, such as a fully electronic scale, a hydraulic feed gate, and a
heavy-duty planetary gearbox, the Shaktiman vertical feed mixer has a capacity of 2.5 cubic meters.

“Small-scale farmers are fundamental to Europe’s economic, environmental, and social cohesion,” says
Mr. Gohil. “Too often they are the ones who are ‘left out’ of new technologies, yet they are
the ones who, in many ways, can benefit most from machinery that promises labor savings,
increased efficiency, or much-needed safety improvements.”

“The vertical feed mixer is an excellent example of how we can leverage technological advances
to deliver solutions that benefit everyone,” Mr. Gohil enthusiastically states.

Mr. Gohil says other new products include a 6-meter-wide folding hammer mower and arm-mounted hammer mowers,
available in light-duty and heavy-duty versions.

The 14 products that Shaktiman is presenting at EIMA have been selected not only because
they characterize the different areas of application in which it operates, but also because they are key products
for European farmers and their particular operations.

“EIMA is one of the largest and most influential exhibitions in the agricultural machinery
